Welcome to the Laboratory of Neuroendocrinology and Behavior at Kent State University.  Our laboratory primarily studies how oxytocin and vasopressin contribute to the neural regulation of behavior

Oxytocin and vasopressin are evolutionarily ancient neuropeptides that are highly conserved across phyla.  Both have been implicated in the regulation of behaviors such as maternal behavior, aggression, and social recognition. We use a variety of behavioral, neuroanatomical, and molecular techniques to explore their roles in the regulation of behavior.
